How did you test the 800 psi? Was at full engine speed as Kubota requires?

How do you know it is the pump and not a relief valve issue?

If you are not going to post pictures as I suggested, then Google "hydraulic pump rebuilders," and find the closest business to you who rebuilds pumps.

Are you talking about the hydraulic pump that is mounted on the front of your engine to run the front end loader, or the pump that is used to run your lift arms on the rear of tractor. Old kubotas had two pumps in many cases because the factory pump was slow for a loader.

I ran the tractor at full speed and held the curl for a few minutes with slight change in heat. I actually found a new pump but want to make sure it's actually the pump. I put a washer as another shim on the relief valve and it didn't change the pressure. The poppet looked fine so I didn't know what else it could be besides the pump. Last night I looked at a parts diagram and noticed a control valve before the relief valve do you think that could be an issue.

If the pump didn't get warm / hot then I doubt your pump is faulty. Do you have a schematic for this tractor? You mention some control valve before the relief. Any idea on what this valve is or does?

I don't intend for this post to sound mean but let me point out something to you. You are now at post #16 on this thread and neither you nor anyone else has a clue what could be wrong and this is due to a lack of information from you. You have posted on this forum at total of 16 times and almost half of those posts have been on this thread which also has 16 posts.

People want to help you and you will get somewhere a lot faster if you post pictures as, since tractor tech is not your specialty, you are not able to use the jargon that allows others to understand what could possibly be wrong.

Also post picture(s) of the parts diagram to save someone else the time to look it up.

I suspect the control valve you see in the parts diagram is a priority flow control valve if you have power steering. A picture would help here. I am not going to the Messick's site to see as you can post it here.

Some history as well. Who put the FEL on? When did you get the machine? Did this low hydraulic pressure, which you likely looked into after realizing the performance was low, appear suddenly after you removed and reinstalled the FEL?

It is unlikely the pump much more likely something is connected wrong!

Looks like there is a relief valve and control valve with unloader in this circuit. Which valve did you remove and inspect?
