That would be a good deal on the mainland. Sounds like a super deal given the higher costs on the islands. I have a L3430 and consider it a fantastic machine. It will be the last tractor I will ever buy as it should long outlive me.

Thanks guys. The tractor appears to be well maintained; the oil doesn’t seem especially dirty for a diesel, the filters are all OEM Kubota, and it’s got a newer interstate battery. I asked the seller for any service records or receipts and he didn’t have any, but says it was maintained according to the operators manual. He says he did a 50 hour service and a 200 hour service. Next major service is 400 hours. It now has 248 hours on it. Keep in mid this is a 10 year old tractor, so even if he serviced it at 200 hours that was probably 2 years ago. I think I’m going to do a full fluid and filter change just for my peace of mind. Am I being paranoid or should I go with my gut and service it now?

You are on the right track, full service on all fluids, including antifreeze, grease everything full work up then you know. Start fresh, you done great now it’s up to you to take care of it and good luck
