Kubota M 59 Tractor Loader Backhoe info, specs,pricing, quote form

No way that's happening. Heck the backhoe on a 580 probably weighs ~6-7,000 lbs.

It's a matter of "filling in the holes" and the 60-ish HP cab backhoe hole is still unfilled.

Didn't you say the JD210 was offered with hoe? If it doesn't come off, then I don't see the utility of something less than a full sized machine, such as a 580. To want a specific 60hp backhoe (Ford 555) seems redundant as there are many existing options, but none with 3pt. hitch. Is it safe to say the L48/M59 is the biggest hoe which converts to 3pt. hitch as well?

Yeah, but I want a cab. They don't have cabs. The IR & earthforce machines and the JCB 212 had cabs. Just b/c a machine is 60HP doesn't mean it has to be in a full size frame. Crap, mines 94 HP and it's in a normal size backhoe frame.

I ordered a 110 TLB then , heard about the M59 after I placed the order.

I know the lifting and digging depth on the hoe is much more than the 110TLB, but the style looks a little old. The 110 TLB loader design and slant hood is great for fork lift work not to mention it looks much cleaner.

The pics look like they went with a poly roof like the 110TLB? When I was looking for a new machine , I looked at a L48/or L39 and it had the metal roof and was rusting on the drip edge new on the lot. I know many will argue with me, but fiberglass and plastic hoods will not rust and take a heck of a beating.

I think the loader needs to look like part of the machine , not a add on for what the M59 cost they need to update the look.

The L-39 has a poly roof structure.

It also has a slant hood.

The Poly roof structure does has benefits, no rusting, but does fade quicker than the metal paint. My L48s have no rusting problems to date, and I guess I am indifferent as to metal vs. plastic, except in hood and fender areas. Regarding the JD110 (Yanmar), it really is not in the same class as the L48/M59 and is more in range with the L39. Regarding the loader, it is now an intergrated braceless design, just like the JD110, and is clearly NOT an add on like the L40 series and below. With unsurpased 4,000lbs. lifting power, the loader speaks for it's own, certainly no add on. All of the (after market)thumbs I have seen on the JD110 have pistons the size of my Ford Taurus trunk release, tiny, and are no where near the power of Kubota factory or after market kits I have seen. Out of curiousity, where is the JD110 going now that Yanmar is making it's own machine....the CBL40(?) which is the JD110, are they going to make their own machines or is the JD110 going to be upgraded. I believe most of JDs 50HP CUTs and less machines are Yanmar. How much are the JD110s now?

I know the engine is Yanmar like my 4310 I had and was very pleased with it . The rest of the machine is differant than the Yanmar tractors I have seen. I rented a lot of equipment to construct tower sites and even rented many Kubotas . Have yet to try a M-59, I never put the belief in specs ,using is the ultimate test . The M-59 looks like a heavy machine , I just wish it had a little more style. Many of the hydraulic thumbs are crazy in price Vs fixed .The cost of these little machines are getting close to used large equipment.
Cost wise I had a better deal trading a Jd on Jd , the local Kubota dealer is not real aggresive, or open half the time. All the machines sit out and the inventory mixed in with Case, Cub Kadet . I think he would sell anything. A Cub he had on his lot back in 2003 is still sitting out for sale with everything else.

The JD110 & Yanmar units, other than sharing a similar engine, are different from each other in quite a few ways. JD makes the backhoe in Iowa where the big backhoe booms are made. For all we know, Yanmar may borrow more from JD than JD borrows from yanmar to build these 2 different machines.

I'd put the JD110 closer to an L-48 in terms of ability than an L-39 because of its' transmission (hydro), its' backhoe, bigger tires and creep feature. It also has some nice features on the loader joystick.

Really it's geared more towards pure construction work than farm work. Probably why it's painted yellow, not green.
