AKfish said:I've been digging thru all the forums for several weeks now, and have read alot of discussion about the pros and cons of the big-iron and the small TLB's.
It seems just as plain as the nose on my face that the $dollar/Hp equation for the small TLB's is "bad math"! And it looks like the equation might even be worse in the short term with the slow-down in the building trades and all the bigger stuff on the market...
But try as I might --- I just can't get around the idea that the big-iron ain't never gonna won't fit my barn and corral and would be a danger to the house and all my building's when I gotta clear snow. And I gotta have that 3pt, too! Tiller, rake, mower and helping with hay work every summer. And sure as the sun comes up; I can't afford to buy a bigger truck and trailer to move the TLB from point A to B!!
So.... I'm lookin' pretty hard at the used L48's and 110's. And expectin' to pay a premium if I end up buyin' new! (It's the AMERICAN way and just doin' my part for the economy.)

(Oh yah, I think the current version of the 210 is hoe-less. Positioned as a "land-scape" tractor.)
Bad math for some, but able to produce more money for others!
