Yes. The problem is the safety switch in the seat that shuts off the tractor if it does not detect the presence of the tractor operator. Unless I place all of my svelt 165 pounds of weight in the center of the bottom portion of the seat, the safety switch triggers as soon as I move the go pedal with my foot, which shuts down the engine. To reset the switch, I have to lift all of my weight off the seat momentarily while not touching the go pedal. The problem is especially noticeable when working on steep inclines, where I'm twisted around to the back of the tractor, and my weight tends to shift onto the back of the seat, causing the bottom of the seat to unweight somewhat. I suspect that the problem could be "fixed" by shorting the two leads going to the safety switch, but this would defeat the purpose of the switch, something that I'm reluctant to do.
