Kubota making generators?

So I was doing my first 50hr filter change on my RV Onan generator and I see this Kubota tag. A 1.5 liter diesel 10,000w genny. I knew Cummins owned Onan but I didn't know Kubota was being used to manufacture some engines for them.

Well, that would be a huge improvement over an Onan built engine.

Hmmm, This is my 4th rv over the years and I've never seen the Kubota tag on any.

I believe that Kubota itself is a well respected brand in generators. They make small to mid-sized generators (5-35kVA).

FWIW: There aren't a lot of small diesel engine manufacturers left in the US market.

This is correct. They have been making commercial generators for years.
