Go to Kubota Parts | Full Service online retailer and enter your loader number and select hydraulics.

They will send you a PDF showing the loader hydraulics.

010 is the IN hose #5

020 is the PB hose #6

030 is the return hose #7

Other 4 hoses go to the work ports

Thanks for your insight into the problem.

I just received the LA1002 loader hydraulic parts list and diagram. However, they only mark the hydraulic hose numbers on the loader valve end and simply show a pictorial of the other end, and don't show which hose is which on the hydraulic block end. I guess the dotted lines follow the hoses to the other end.

I got these numbers off the loader valve, but cannot find a nice data sheet like the one you found previously.

HUSCO Loader Valve:
A00A8144 02
7554061013
5000 - 8214G

How did you know which hose was which?

Looking at the PDF.

If you follow the pump hose to the hyd blk, that will start you off in tracking all the hoses.

The PB port usually has a adapter fitting or a hex screw. I believe your PB has an adapter. If you remove it, it should look like this.

Open center valves usually have a relief valve, and the IN port is usually close to the relief valve.

Sometimes you can use air to ID the ports.

Sometimes you also have two IN ports and two tank/return ports.

Thanks again to all the thread contributors and especially JJ who convinced me that my LA1002 Loader Manual was wrong, and the available information from Kubota Hydraulics on the Loader is correct!!!

Always proud to be a member of this forum as you can get as detailed information as you need. I suspect it would have been much more difficult to have gotten this information from a dealer, although they must know about it since they ignored the book and connected my Loader correctly.

Always reminds me that you should mark everything when you take it apart as that information may come in handy later!

The part number is at the bottom of the nameplate and is a 5000-B214 (Rev G), part of the 5000 open center valve series. The inlet and outlet are on the same end of the valve, on the same face as the workports (hose to the cyclinder). The outlet (tank) is on the same side as the spool end mechanism and the Inlet (pump) is on the side where the spool cables or linkages are attached. So your picture is correct. If you look closely at the pic or the valve block the words "IN" and "OUT" are cast in. The Power beyond port is in the center of the triangular shaped cover on the opposite end of the valve. There is no RV in this valve.

jasong123,

Why do you think there is no RV on this valve?

I see a bunch of parts that belong to a relief valve in the PDF.

I looked at the valve drawing. I am Director of Engineering for Agricultural products at HUSCO International. I was not personally involved with this product because it is before my time but I try to take a look at the drawings and help where I can.

Please correct me if I a wrong,

All I can tell you is that the PDF for the LA 1002 loader shows a relief valve.

The only reason for that open center valve to not have a relief valve is that maybe there is another relief valve located just after the pump and before the loader valve. Some tractors have the relief valve on the hyd block.

If that valve is used as a closed center valve, then it would not have a relief valve.

I haven't seen the PDF but like you said the first valve in the circuit should have a main relief. Some tractors have the hitch valve first, some the rear remote, others the loader valve but the one that is first in the circuit will have it or it will be in a manifold around the pump, either way it will protect everything downstream.

like you said earlier some of the Kubota tractors had the 9210 valve which did have an RV in it

this valve shouldn't be used in a closed center system but with a closed center system you still usually have either a Load sense RV or some variable displacement pumps have a integrated pressure cut off, which isn't an RV but limits the maximum pressure in the system.
