Kubota Regeneration

Based on that info it should never have to be changed out. With 447 hours on my Kioti it was so plugged up that it had to be removed and cleaned out. A regeneration wouldn't clean it up and you couldn't see thru it. Mine has probably lost some of its life already. In the last 27 hours it has been plugged up so bad that it went into limp mode 3 times and back to the dealer each time under warranty.

I’m not making claims about DPF life. I’ve seen them plugged at less than 500 hours. The commentary is about some members math skills. And heading about where I figured it would go.

I knew that.

Why does 5030 want to be on a tractor forum with us suburbanite peons anyway?? I'm sure there is a "real" tractor forum out there..

Ive been in agriculture for going on 40 years but would never talk down on other folks who have smaller machines or just own something because they enjoy them. Some guys have fancy/expensive bass boats, some have race cars, some folks like to travel, whatever melts your butter is cool by me. Guess some people feel the need to put other folks down to make themselves feel superior.

Well said, Texas.

I don’t have over 1,000 hours on any of my DPF equipped tractors yet but my nephew has 3,500 on the M110GX he purchased 3 years ago for mostly for livestock work in winter. His complaints are won’t start even with block heater at temps below -30 and up to 1 hour warm up before transmission power shift will work between zero and -20. DPF - he says rarely notices it but does try not to shut down in winter when it’s 99%.

To 5030 I say this, my lil tractor symbolic ! No sir, as other members have pointed out we use them to perform chores. I purchased a 970 jd 30 up 4 wheel drive back in 1998 to clear land I purchased. 20 acres. That lil tractor I put to work making a living , clearing brush, mowing lots and pastures, dirt work, putting up fences, etc... It has over 7000 hrs . Now I've replaced it with a Kubota M7060. Still doing same kind of work to include chores around my place. Some of us were not fortunate enough to have enough land passed down to us to farm or the financial means to lease or buy land for ranching or farming. Some of us had to work in cities, to consume your hard worked products. That's what makes this good ol world go around. My friends at tractorbynet and other forums like this are do it yourself people. Utility, midsize, compact tractors are like tools in our tool box. Nothing like having the right tool to get the job done right the first time.
