Loader Kubota

Keep in mind that the CG of the load on a pallet will be a couple feet out from the pins, and thus the capacity will be less as the lever arm is longer.

SSQA pallet forks weigh about 250 lbs. The 7800 probably does not have SSQA though. Forks that clamp on the bucket will have significantly less capacity than SSQA forks as they will place the load CG even farther from the pins.
Good point. If your reading the "lift at pin" weight you wont even get that capacity with a bucket and def not with a set of pallet forks.
If your forks are 48in long you have to assume your load is 24in from the pin at minimum. Il be willing to bet you will struggle to lift 800lbs...not including any tractor tipping issues.

Kubota FEL's Model # X2 then add 1/2

Example:
402 X2 = 804 + 201 = 1005 LBS.

Yes you should be good. Please please just put ballast on the 3PT to be safe. Mower, box blade, whatever you have that weights the most.

Nope, lots of different buckets and attachments, all different weights. Otherwise everything would ship with a screening bucket since it is the lightest.

500 pounds? Piece of cake for the LA402 loader.

Maximum lift? Another story. I have never figured that out in practical terms. I do know mine has limits though. LOL.

Determined by trying to do too much...

?? 402 kgs. X 2.2 = 884.4 lbs.
The OP Kubota FEL is a LA402

Mulitply 402 by 2 = 804

Then take half of 402 = 201

Add 804 to 201 = 1005

Numbers are pounds not kilograms.

This is a ball park figure of the loader's lifting capacity.

B7800 owner here. I have unloaded pallets with over 1000# (paver weight x count) from the back of my truck with clamp on forks. No, the loader will not lift the load, but curl will get the load off the truck bed. Backed up and gently lowered to ground. Had a heavy Gannon on the back but it was still quite dicey. I would not try to travel with this load.

I know that the specs say otherwise but this is real world. The 7800 is a beast considering it’s size.
