If you don't require a belly mower, the Kubota L3400 & L2800 are a great value. These have more capacity than the B series. I personally chose the L2800 HST. I love the HST for loader work and general ease of mobility. If I was going to go gear drive and wanted to stay in the same price range, I would step up to the L3130. Check out the specs. of each and decide what is important to you. Don't get locked into what is on a dealer's yard. For my needs, I traded a BX for a L2800 with Bush-Hog loader and Long 4n1 bucket.

I used to have an older B series Kubota, '91 B2150 to be specific. It was a great little tractor, but it was light for what I was wanting to do. What you intend to use it for will determine what you will need. If you could give a little info it might help. The L series Kubota's look to be very good tractors.
