L 5030 HSTC FEL problem

I too have an L5030 HST-without-the-C and 853. After reading this thread last week I paid more attention over the weekend. The tractor is brand new but it went all weekend with the loader at the same height I left it at. That is, I drove around, left the bucket about 1' off the ground and shut down. Two days later it was at the exact same place.

I traded an L3130 with the smallest loader in on this tractor and never had problems with it holding pressure either.

I would definately take it up with your dealer.

My L5030 has leaky curl cylinders or valve, haven't done the trouble shooting yet. My bucket takes about 20 mins to go from full curl to full droop no load, 2 minutes with a full load. Very annoying when using the forks.

After my dealer replaced my defective lift cylinder, I still have not had any problems. I do think using forks on the front put the most pressure on the loader; especially the curl cylinders. I donated my time and equipment this last weekend helping put in a park for the victims of a tornado we had about a year ago that killed 26 people in their sleep. It took me 7 hours solid to move 4 tractor trailer loads of sod on pallets. It covered 40,000 sq. feet. I figured that if anything would give the FEL and cylinders a workout, it would be moving hundreds of 2500 to 2800 pound pallets 1/8 of a mile all day. Here is a couple of pics.
