Caseman, it's posts like this that show your ignorance.

The L3800 is not a toy! It is a midsize tractor that does what it's designed to do.

Kubota makes smaller and larger tractors.

Exactly, we have a BX, L and M, none "better" than the other, just different; all good tractors for their intended purpose.

Growing up on a 160 acre cattle and row crop farm, our main tractor was the same as all our neighbors, a 32 PTO HP.

10 T of stone on 6 hours  That dont speak too well to operator ability. You could do that with a shovel and wheelbarrow.

I get 20T loads dumped for my driveway. Take me all of an hour or hour and a half to spread it out 1 bucket load at a time. It takes 2-3 buckets to make a ton. So a 10 Ton would only have been 30 bucket fulls TOPPS. So I guess you consider yourself a good operator averaging 5 scoops per hour:confused2:

I spread 80 tons of gravel earlier this year with the bobcat I had.

Definatally no toy. It is quite a machine. But as mentioned, they make tractors of different sizes for different purposes. And ALL tractors will feel light at times when you push it to the limit. My 18k lb backhoe feels light at times when digging relly hard stuff or moving big rocks.

I really wish I could understand that:confused3:

I dont care how many hours you have put on. If it takes you 6 hours to move 30 buckets of stone, then you are either doing something wrong, or you are moving it 2 miles away a bucket load at a time:laughing:
