I had forgotten about the suspension seat freezing up. Mine was frozen up, brand new from the dealer.. Lube it up with your favorite penetrating oil, and tilt the seat forward, then get up and use the ROPS for stability and jump up and down on the seat base with one foot for a while until it comes free. Yes you look like an idiot doing the "Wiley Coyote" stomp on that base, but it is the easiest way to do it. You adjust the tension for your weight with a T handles screw on the back of the base. There is not much info in the manual about how to do this.
What? Mine has a little knob that you turn; it's right above the 3ph adjustment knob and in front of and below the seat.
Worthless though, since I weigh +275 lbs with phone, knives, leatherman tool, .44 mag and all the other stuff I carry all the time. I had to add a couple tennis balls and a small football so I wouldn't hit the stops every time I drive my tractor. Mo betta now!
