I looked and looked and it still didn't come off the ground yet.
... Kubota does just as many other companies do and it really is quite simple to understand.
TRiple R i just grew up on a stick tractor when i hit old age say 80+ i might think hydro is a good way to go
I don't know of any other company that has two vastly different tractors in the same tractor series. Kubota isn't even consistent with it, they have a M series and an MX series, why not an L series and LX series?
I'm not personally confused about the naming, I was planning on buying a Kubota and did a lot of research on them. Actually, I know a great deal more about the L series and it's naming than Kubota owners who think the only difference between a standard and grand L is a few fancy features.
My original point was that they're vastly different, so much so, I personally don't understand why they wouldn't have separated the lines, made the standard version the LX or given it some other letter. I guess they could just name every tractor they make an L something, that would make as much sense to me.
It really isn't to difficult! You have an L-series and you have a grand L-series. They are both tractors, yes they could have added another letter but they added Grand instead. Mighty small point on one of the most advanced tractors built in that size range. I wonder what kioti will call it when they introduce their copy of it?
