Price Check L2500 pricing question

Hello. A local guy says he is getting a divorce and lost his 7 acres, has a mint condition Kubota L2500 w/front loader, Razorback brush hog, and Rankin angle blade. 74 hours. He says that he will take $12,500 for it, and that he paid about $22k new (which includes tax). It seems like a good deal to me but I'm not very experienced with the tractor market. I just purchased a home on 6 acres and will need the tractor, loader and brush hog. Any comments welcome.

Hmmm... Doesn't sound like that feller got a very good deal originally. A couple of years ago I was quoted $15,720 for a brand new L3000DT with an LA450 loader. Another 7 grand for a brush hog and angle blade sounds steep to me, but I could be wrong.

I eventually bought a "like new" L2500DT lease return (187 hours) plus a brand new LB400 loader (installed) for $13,600. I'd have to say $12,500 sounds pretty good, especially with those implements thrown in.

I agree with Harv; the $12,500 doesn't sound bad at all for the tractor with those implements, but the $22K sounds a little unlikely.

I don't know where you are located, but a dealer outside of Dallas has a package deal with the L2800DT with LA463 loader and a Bush Hog rotary cutter and box blade for $14,720 - all brand new with full warranty and good financing. Look on this web page under Monthly Specials.
