L2900GST shifting

Just a quick question for the experts. I have a mid 90s vintage L2900 GST. It has the forward and reverse lever up on the steering column area. To say I find this arrangement rather awkward would be nice. What I am wanting to know is if there is a way to convert this to foot pedal operated setup???

You have a GST, Glide Shift Transmission, you have an actual Gear transmission with a shuttle shift ...
You are thinking of a hydro system with a foot controlled shuttle, The two systems are Not even close to similar.

Matt you will get to Love that tractor... GST is the best.
I have the same tractor, Just a bit larger... The L2900 L3300 L3600 & L4200 are all in the same group.
My L4200 (1998) is the cab model and I can't imagine a better machine...
I have had a few IH models in the past, still have a F Cub model...KennyV

I had a H model, Not a Super H...
There is a World of difference going to the Kubota.
Use your shuttle shift and gear selector Without using the foot clutch as often as you can, The foot clutch is a single dry disk. The GST system incorporates a hydraulic Multi disk pack that is in oil. It will not over heat and will outlast the foot clutch many times over. I have disconnected the linkage to my foot clutch and have the petal hooked in the down position, just to keep it out of the way.
