Well, I decided to get the BH-90. The tractor is in the shop right now getting fitted.. hope to have it back soon. The subframe and added power made the decision for me.. I got to thinking about the strain on the 3pt system and decided it would be best to get the strongest BH I can for the machine.. while remaining brand loyal to Kubota..
I saw a 3130 with BH90 on it today. Looks REAL good.
Makes the backhoe on my B2910 look like a toy...actually, the tractor also made my B2910 seem like a toy... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif
The mounting using the sub frame is superior to a 3ph type without question!
However...the B2910 is probably perfect for my needs...unfortunately... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Jibber,
That's an really nice looking package. I looked at a similar package when I was at the Kubota dealer this week. They are HUGE. That's also a really nice looking yard..... for now. You should be able to tear that up in no time with that machine.
especially as wet as it's been this year.. even the new areas that I've cleared and seeded have been washed away. Hoping for some dryer weather next summer so that I can really get to work on extending the yard in all directions.. I'm currently surrounded by acres of trees.. and rocks.. lots and lots of rocks.. I'd like a little more green grass and sunshine!
If you don't mind me asking, what was the cost on the BH90? I have a 3130DT and would like a backhoe, but I don't know if I would use it enough to justify the cost.
