That's a workable fix. By offsetting the 3pt lever they put the lateral problem we discussed earlier on one lever rather than three. I like that much better than shortening and moving forward.

I agree. Theres also a sheath on the 3pt lever thats close to the fender. Which is a nice touch.

View from the seat. I had enough time to back the tractor into the garage today.

Nice. Very clean.

Sad that a dealer had to make that alteration to fix corporate's stupid design.......

I have NO faith that Kubota will address this. Problem is a very small percentage of that model is sold with triple rear remotes. No motivation for them to make it right. If they were going to make it right you would be receiving a recall notice to replace the 3pt lever with something similar to your Dealer's solution.

Glad it got resolved!!!

I agree. It seems way more functional than the original. That said, I haven't done anything with it yet. BUT I'm not sure what else they can do. Corp put them in a bad spot.

I cant imagine too many L series have 3 remotes. When I was figuring how many id use, if I am using 2 for TnT I might want one more for something else. Can always find a use.

When I was looking at doing it myself or costing out with the dealer, the dealer cost for 3 installed with the factory parts was not all that much more than doing it myself with non-Kubota parts.

Now to replenish funds and get a TnT setup for it. =]

Did you ever resolve this? I seem to have the same issue....

It clears (barely)if you push it all the way driver side in the track.

It looks like Kubota took a step backward with these kits, at least in terms of the levers. My L3200/3800 kit has a shorter throw slot for lever #3 (which was labeled lever #1 on my kit) and they don't allow float or detent valves for that position. Clearly they knew the lever couldn't move forward because of the existing 3-pt lever, so they limited the throw. I guess whoever setup the kit for the L3301/3901 didn't notice that constraint. It's even more odd because the hydraulics on the tractors are all near identical, so the L3200/3800 kit could have carried over unchanged. Somebody missed the boat on this one big time. Whatever corporate knowledge they had from designing the older kit clearly didn't make it over to the newer kit. Just stupid.

Bcrouse, I have 3 on my Kubota and use them all. Have 2 on the Ford and wish for a 3rd.

Will admit I've never wanted 4 on the Kubota.

I suppose it would accomplish the same thing if the 3-pt lever was BENT with a big S-bend, but it looks stout enough that it would need to be removed and heated and then re-painted to make that so.

I had to bend my levers as well. Mine was a custom install with FitRite parts. So I had to fab my brackets & levers. Nice joystick for TnT & another lever for the 3rd function.

Really happy with the setup, the parts & learned a lot engineering it.

Fallon, way back from the past.
Do you remember what joystick you used for this TnT setup on your 3800?
