L3200 HST dead. No power to anything on the panel. Not even hazards

Thanks a lot guys. I really appreciate your help and advice. My L3200 has 2 of those small fuse panels under the dash, not by the battery. I already checked those and they were good. There is another fuse panel with smaller fuses on the left side above the starter. I'll check them again in the morning since there is a monsoon tonight. And college football.

Interesting that photo is right out of the L3200 workshop manual.. Maybe they made some mid production changes.

Not sure on your machine, but some fusable links look like this....

If this wire is broke , you have no power.

My multimeter is kind old and wonky, but I took the battery to Advanced auto parts and they checked it with a load meter. 12.4V and good for 500 cranking amps. I guess it's the battery main fuse, if I can find it. I don't get it. I checked voltage at the starter, and I have voltage. That is the positive cable to the starter. Where is the fusible link? I unwrapped the cable a foot back and see only battery cable. Where in the world is the main battery fuse?
There would be power at the big solenoid lug because it is direct from the battery. How about the little wire that energizes it. I am thinking not. Some kind of 12 volts has to tell that solenoid to close when the key is turned and open when released. That's the reason to jump the solenoid see if the battery and starter is good. Then you know it is the key switch (probably not due to no headlights ect) or some kind of main fuse. We determined the battery was not the main issue (although it is now nice to know it is good) when you a) turned the key and nothing changed and b) you tried to jump it and there was no change at all

Whoa....whoa WHOA! My name is vick-toe-ree! Well guys, I was seriously starting to think my mojo was gone, but after the rain and church and going to see my mom in the old folks home, I returned to give the old girl some more attention. The tractor, that is. I looked at the cable to the starter lug, and sure enough, there was a smaller red wire coming from the boot. I gave it a tug and it moved back. I tugged again and out popped a round terminal, which I had failed to bolt to the starter lug when I reinstalled the starter. Okay, no mistakes this time. Battery ground off, installed starter battery cable, and making sure smaller terminal was on the lug this time. I excitedly tightened the battery ground cable and stuck a key in the ignition switch. Testing the lights, everything worked. Glow-plug....check! Key to start.....puff of diesel smoke and the engine purrs to life! If I was a drinking man, I'd pour one. But alas, I'm not since I had children. A thick NY strip and baked potato and salad will have to suffice. Life is good.

Thanks again guys for helping me find my mojo. Have a great labor day!

I am new to this Kubota forum, and from what I can tell is that Messick is to Kubota, like what Hoye is to Yanmar. I went over to my buddies house last night, he is the one I sold my YM 2000 to, I was telling him about the 3 speed PTO, he has had 2 Kubota's, his parents has a Massey and Allis Chalmers, he has never seen a tractor with a 3 speed PTO, he said to me, that the more he learns about YM 2000, the more he likes it. I explained to him that Tractor by net is an awesome site that you can find information for just about any tractor, during my 13 years of owning my Yanmar, I found a wealth of knowledge, exceptional people who are helpful in operating, repairing, tips, tricks on any situation you might encounter. I have no doubts, that since I have been on Kubota's band wagon, I strongly feel that the information, tips, tricks, good sound knowledge of operating equipment! I am proud to know that there is a good many people out there willing to help solve your problems that you might experience in everyday life, and for this I am graterful! Thank you all for furture knowledge of assisting! Take care all!
