Glad you clarified that. It seems there are some members on here that

A. Cant take humor
B. Cant take anyone saying anything negative about "their" brand
C. Are just plain uptight and like to start crap

I am really glad you understand that I am just trying to have fun with you. Especially after you, myself, and chilley807's herky-jerky saga.

As bad as my hitch is though, it isnt the only tractor i get the chance to operate. So if I have a yearning for a smooth hitch, I go jump on dads 61 year old 8n for awhile.:D But after a few minutes with NO power steering, no throttle pedal, no loader, and sloppy steering, I find myself quickly realizing that my hitch really isnt that bad:laughing:

No LD1 it is all good:thumbsup: Your dad's 8N sounds about like the old family Super A I learned on.. yep the 2PT hitch was smooth as well as the middle hydraulics for the cultivators. Yes I said 2pt hitch not 3pt. But as you pointed out absolutely no power steering, no loader, no throttle pedal and a total of 3 forward speeds and 1 reverse. Man it was hard to find that sweet spot when 3rd was mostly road gear. AND the thing drank gasoline like it was cheap or something... wait. when it was a current tractor gas was about 19 cents a gallon. Oh well it was a pretty unique and cool old tractor but I would not have much use for it today.
