B3200 v L3400

Hmm, The loader joy stick intregal with the tractor, and by your right hip, the new 504 loader without the brace going over the fuel fill, and the lift arms closer to the tractor, I think the new 3 speed hydro is smoother, operators platform is larger, new seat, better dash, and cup holder. I'm not convinced that the new swivel seat for the backhoe is a big improvement since it also raises the seat I believe. I know the swivel seat for the B2x20 series is higher. The new backhoe has a built in mount for a mechanical thumb which is nice though. Side by side with the B7800, I would take the B3200 for sure, and might have had it been available last June over the B2620 I have. Still, mine has been perfect for evrything I've used it for! :D

Just the other day I was at a dealer and looked at a B3200 and a 2320 side-by-side. It appears that the loader frames and mounting are exactly the same. Kubota seems to have used the exact same loader for each of the new 2x20's and the 3200. I mean they are the same width and the sheet metal used appears to be the same thickness. The difference is in the size of the hydraulic cylinders and the size of buckets. It appears that you could put any of the new buckets on any of the tractors. Someone else on the same opinion???

I don't know if that is good or bad, but certainly saves a buck or two for the manufacturer. The new 3x20's and 3200 are also cleaner running with better emissions that is on par with tougher regulations if I'm not mistaken.

Easygo, Yes, it appears that the Kubota quick change that goes on the B3200 LA504 loader will also work on the B2x20 series along with the buckets, forks, etc. I may see about doing that with mine.

ChuckinNH,

Thank you for confirming. There is a reason for the plus column. I wish I had the option for a larger bucket. A lot of my loader work is light materials so I could really use a 54" or 60" wide bucket.

Did you ever check to see if the quick change for the B7800 would fit your LA352 loader? I'm wondering now if the old loaders were the same also. I do know that you could get the forks, and different buckets for the B7800.

The loader arms are more beefy and much wider on the 7800 then on the 7510-7610. It would be nice to have an optional light material bucket tho. May be I have to add that to my to-do list. The unfortunate thing is that the honey-do list must be kept short and it always trumps my to-do list.

I was at the BX Expanded site this morning, and they make a bucket expander for the BX bucket, and perhaps for yours too. They claim a large increase in capacity for light materials....... maybe worth a look.
