Thanks for the replies, definitely gives me some areas to consider. I will check the load rating on the R1's before everything is signed and will look at the HD bucket versus the standard bucket.
I'd look at the front hy. circuit for a grapple & the special joystick.
Good decision on the front quick-attach.
Maybe a canopy or Curtis Cab? We have a Curtis cab helps to keep branches off face when driving thru woods. Also have HW heater plumbed to engine & doors for winter, but its probably not a concern for you.
I have OTR tractionmaster R1 tires on the front of my 4240. They are 6 ply. They do squat a little when I have a heavy load in the bucket. I have looked into R1-w tires that are rated for more weight but I'm not going to worry about it until I need to replace the tires since the tires still look like new and the R1-W tires require a wider wheel.
