I have a rotating laser on a tripod. The receiver mounted on a pole beeps when it is out of level with the rotating laser. If this pole is mounted to my box blade, I would know when I am grading out of level. I can raised or lower the box blade manually.

I have a rake with 2 gauge wheels and it works GREAT. In the early part of the fall I saw someone tring to level out some course gravel with a rake with no wheels. I came back through about 2 hrs later and he was still working on his drive. I was very rolling and didn't look good.

I think that a hyd. toplink would help even more with the guage wheels installed. As for one or two wheels, it began because I have two wheels on my rake.

Does anybody have end plates for their rakes?

What about using the rake quage wheels for the blade. Are guage wheels rugged enough? Just curious on your thoughts. Anybody else?

Derek - I don't know if they would work or not. They seem a little weak for such heavy duty use.

I even had to replace the light duty tire than came on the blade gauge wheel with boat trailer tire.

Um, well, a couple questions:

First, a dumb one - I've not been around much lately (long story, but a boring one, as in "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy"), so I don't know what's going on here. So, what happened to the pics?

Second, which pictures would you guys most like to see again? The good news is that I've got a digital camera now (an Olympus C2100UZ - the old ones were taken with one borrowed from a friend), so I can take some new ones and post them.

Good to hear from you, now that I've got my 4310 I'm interested in the solinoid valve pics. Also do you want to sell those tires on your tractor? Since they are just sitting there dry rotting.

I've got a few questions to ask but I'll go easy on you for now.

The pics took a hike when 'M' archived all the stuff from prior to 01/01/01. The text has stayed in place but the links to the pics went away with the new servers and hasn't been rebuilt yet. Sigh...........
