Lick yer wounds and keep what ya got. I wouldn't give them another penny.

But, if ya do, make sure yer getting a 2019 model!!! :D

I can't figure out how to Multi Quote so I am responding separately.

Sometimes my principles get in the way of progress. I just hate being taken advantage of.

Still not sure where this will end up.

I gave up posting here a few years ago. Now I remember why. Not to worry. I wont post anything that will be construed as advertising again lol.

Sorry I drug you into this Paul; won't do that again.

Lol. Its not your fault. It just showed me how everything remained the same while I was gone these last few years. Keep well my friend. I will try and stop back in a few more years to test the waters again 👋

Wow! Some people sure get offended easily. Please do not be offended that is not my intention. I have been to your website and checked out some of your videos. You do quality work and have some great ideas to remedy some issues with these tractors. Keep up the great work!!!! I seen the thread heading sideways and only wanted to bring the focus back. Hang around and maybe you will find some other issues that you could address.

Now back to the regular programming.

Lick yer wounds and keep what ya got. I wouldn't give them another penny.

Is there a difference between the 2018 and the 2019?

Do you use your plow for mostly pushing snow or for side casting. It's the side casting I'm concerned about, as I have a lot. My driveway is a mile long and I run up and down with the blade angled all the way, to cast the snow off the sides and that is hard on the loader.

I made a float for my plow and it made a huge difference for me but my driveway is rough gravel with lots of ups and downs.
85% of the time I'm plowing is with the blade fully angled mostly longer rural driveways. When windowing the loader, plow & SSQA are stronger than my traction. Even with the chains. I'll get bumped sideways on big offcenter piles of snow. No loader issues yet.

I dont abuse my equipment, but will push it reasonably hard. The L6060 can take the big loader, my L4060 can only take the medium loader. So you'd end up with a stronger loader than I have as well (don't let the dealer talk you into anything but the big loader). A L6060 wont have much more traction either. Slightly bigger tires & 300ish lbs more weight isnt much.

Thanks for the reply. I too use the plow mostly angled and it's good know the Loader will take it. I haven't had any issues with the Loader on the old MF1547 or the new 1749 but before I put the float on, it would sometimes dig in I could see / feel the Loader torquing. Much better now.

I use chains on the front tires and found the cab added enough weight to make some difference but more weight would be nice when plowing.

Old age is catching up to me fast! I finally clued in. DUH:duh:

By the way I talked to the dealer today and they assure me they are not trying to recover the $2,500 from the previous deal but their company policy is that they must make money on every transaction. Maybe just feeding me a line but I think they are being honest with me.

The loader valve they installed on this tractor is leaking and I called them today about it and they are sending someone out tomorrow to fix it. I'm impressed.

I left this leak for issue alone for a while because of what happened there last week. Last Monday I talked to the service manager about the leak and he wanted some pics of the leaking valve. I sent some and checked back on Tuesday. He wasn't in. I called on Wednesday and he still wasn't in. Stopped by their office on Friday and found out the service manager committed suicide. The staff are understandably shaken and some are still away from work. I'm sure it will take some time before things get back to normal. Hard to believe someone so young would resort to something like that. I guess my problems are small.

I also asked the salesman to send me a revised quote that showed the options plus a quote for a 3rd function.

In all fairness, they won't be in business long if they loose money or just break even on every deal. It takes time, energy & money to stay in business. Got to pay for all the inventory on the lot, the foor over their heads & the people to run the company.

Next week I will bring the L6060HSTCC home for a demo. That should tell me if it has significantly more power than the MF1749 and a few hours of seat time should identify any features I don't like or any I want to add. The demo has a radio, air ride seat and LED lights. None of which I really want. Still a little unsure about the air ride seat though. Don't really think there is a big improvement over the stock seat. The only extra I will likely go with is the third function.

Anybody that has the air ride seat think it's worth the extra money ($1,000CAD) or not. I actually like the seat in the Massey more than the 2 Kubota seats.
