LA 853 QA help- SOLVED

I have a Kubota GL5030HSTC with an LA853 FEL and QA bucket attach.

The telescoping pins of the QA system come to a sharp beveled point. One of the pins has sheared at the thin bevel point and is now even shorter.

I have read here of a retro-fit fix for these pins.

Does anyone have:

1. A pdf exploded parts diagram of the QA?

2. The part numbers for a fix?

3. A brief description of disassembly?

I wanted to provide an update for anyone using the 853 FEL on the Kubota Grand L series.

There is a Kubota product improvement for the Kubota QA on the FEL 853

Because I live so distant from my K dealer, I buy quite a bit online from Messicks. I turned to their service rep (Les) for assistance. I explained the problem and he searched high and low and remembered something about it, but could find nothing. After mutliple conversations over a month's time, he finally told me to contact Kubota directly by email, which I did. The western regional rep called me after a few weeks and told me directly that yes it was an issue, and that every owner should have been contacted for the replacement item which is provided at no cost to the owner.

The replacement item is essentially an entirely new QA assembly for the 853 FEL. The K part number is the L2232A Quick Attach Coupler. The most visible change is a significant size increase in the diameter of the "lock pins". I would say at least a 20% increase. The new pins protrude significantly deeper into the lock pin slot on an attachment. They are also silver colored (hard chrome??) as opposed to black steel on the old ones.

The lock-up of this QA is like night and day compared to the old one: tight.
