I emailed Kubota Corp over a week ago with links to this thread and the thread I started about the spring fix. I've heard nothing.

But as foreman Etexas said if suddenly they start building with some sort of retaining mechanism we'll know the little cheaters read our threads and fixed the problem with no admission of guilt....

I suspect if it goes anywhere as soon as someone does a cost benefit analysis, the results will be nah, don't think so.

The 'trick' is to find the right 'ear'.

My new tractor arrived last Friday. As the delivery guy was walking me through the ins and outs and how to connect and disconnect various pieces, I noticed that when reattaching, the delivery guy did not quite get the pin back into the pin retaining clip. Because of this specific thread, I noticed that it was possible and made sure that it was in place as part of the delivery.
This particular pin that I found was part of the backhoe mount, and not normally visible to the casual eye.
