Speeco is the manufacturer of the NH unit.

I checked out Speeco's website. They are the manufacturer or they hired some really good PR people to create a website that looks like they can manufacture!!! ;)

I used cat 1 to cat 3 lower bushings like Piston ordered, also use cat 1 to cat 3 upper bushings.

I know you guys ain't stupid,,, so it must be me....

I'm from Missouri, ya gotta show me. the cat 1 to cat 3 lower bushings you are talking about would fit my cat 2 QH and adapt it to fit a cat 1 attachment 7/8" pin. My cat 1 QH lower links are 1.25". It requires the cat 1 to cat 2 bushings. What am I missing??

Maybe different brand QHs use different sized lower link hooks??

My QH is a cat 1 the bushings Piston posted are the ones I bought from Northern Tool.

Yep, they sell two different bushings for cat 1 pins. the cat 1 to cat 2 bushings measure 1 1/8" outside. The cat 1 to cat 3 bushings measure 1 7/16" outside.

Which do you have??

Door #2 The 1 7/16.

Door #2 The 1 7/16.

Then different manufacturers must make different sized hooks. Piston said LP told him there's were 1 7/16" which is what led him to those bushings. Mine are definitely 1 1/4"

You've shown me, I believe!!!! Now I can tell the Wife that I learned something today and didn't just wait all day on the computer in the shop!!!

Thanks Murph!!!

No, Thank you. I do have to go from Cat 2 to cat 3 on that Box Blade but it will need more work than that when I go Hydraulic this summer.

No worries. Bump me when you start on that project. In the meantime I'll try to get some good pics. It was a ***** the way I went about it. I can save you a lot of work and hassle converting yours. Don't remove anything before you talk to me. You'll retain the torsion spring system.

I need to rebuild the spring system too.

The early Land Pride QH had Cat 2 hooks. Later ones have Cat 3. I posted a link to this on the LP site long ago. but can't find it now.

I can't believe people are to lazy to hook up to their implements.

Some of us aren't so young anymore and wrestling a rotary cutter, rear blade, box blade, etc; doesn't isn't in the cards....nothing to do with laziness.
Women operate this equipment too...and they don't always have the upper body strength to align an implement.
If you ever injure your arm or, even worse, your back...you'll either have to depend on someone else to do the hook ups, or they won't be done.

I daresay "lazy" isn't part of the equation.

Let me brainstorm a little Murph. I found a parts manual online somewhere but can't remember where. It's handy to have.

Once a fellow starts down this road of laziness,,,, I mean efficiency of the 3pt hitch, there's no place to stop. I'm even brainstorming a way to latch the QH so I don't have to unseat to do that!!!!

I guess I'm luckier than others, I can reach my latch levers from the seat when 3pt is fully raised.

Yep, that's common with "little" tractors!!! ;););) :D

I can open rear cab window on NH TL100A and flip locking levers over. Still have to get out to connect PTO on Bush Hog though?
