Landscape Rake

I have been looking at buying a King Kutter or similar brand rake to help move gravel out of my snow plowing clients grass. I plow several gravel lots and we have to stack the snow in the grass most places. I am very careful to only move a minimum amount but it is there. What do you all think of the KK rake? Should I spend the extra money for the "KK PRO" or just get the lowest grade? Is there a better option for the price? I am looking to spend a minimal amount as this will be a one time per year project. I will be using my 4720 JD tractor for this. Hopefully the rake can be modified for Imatch use.

You can move some of the rock out of the grass with a rake, it will leave some behind. It will also move a lot of grass while you are at it. The grass will grow back fine but looks a little ugly when you have finished and you will have clumps of dead grass in the road and in the rake, that is not a problem when I'm doing my own drive but for a client, you will probably need to bring some bags and cart off the dead grass so it will look nice.

I have the KK landscape rake. It is not the pro and has done just fine for me. It is a few years old. Paint is peeling, but that is pretty common with KK. It does what I need it to do.

First off that rake you pictured looks to be IMatch ready but can't swear to it.

I haven't been real sucessful using a landscape rake for your purpose, too much will pass between the tines.

On a thread last night I saw this tool of interest, plan on calling to find out what it costs this week. It shouldn't be too expensive and might do a better job. I am thinking of taking a chance on it if the price is ok.

I am interested in the mechanical rake for cleaning small rock from the tops of seedbeds for lawns as well as recovery of driveway gravel. I would have alot of use for it but it does seem a little pricey. It all boils down to how much labor cost it could save.
