Larger tires for 2305

If you are getting the rear wheels to lift while moving slowly around the yard (guess I interpret 'motoring' as moving fast) then you need some weight in that ballast box. Just the box by itself won't do /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I don't think the center of gravity is causing the problem, if the FEL bucket is just above the axle. If the rear wheel raises, being ready to immediately drop the FEL to the ground is a good plan. Weight counter balancing the load is the answer.

That FEL must pick up a pretty good load. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

lifting a tire is a ballast issue and has nothing to do with tire size. larger tires would actually raise the center of gravity of the entire machine. as far as trying it I wouldnt mind if it were practical on the hope it would improve the ride - thus my interest in the upcoming 2320 which is basically a 2210/2305 with larger tires and a few extras- even though the 2210/2305 have extra room in the pants for larger rears consider that larger fronts might rub someplace during a turn like the mower deck.
