It sure sounds like you're not destined to get one. IF you ever get it, please let us know how it works.

Joe, you may be right. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif I'm not sure what Sears is doing. I called yesterday and the man I spoke to said they sometimes send the e-mail with the tracking number before UPS picks up the package, but that the tracking number would be good later (although he also said the "expected" shipping date wasn't until 4/3/06). Tracking number still not good today, so I called again, got a female this time and she insisted that it would be shipped on 4/3/06, but couldn't tell me why I got an e-mail saying it was shipped on 3/28/06. I guess I got a little obnoxious with her by insisting on speaking to a supervisor. So the supervisor said she'd put me on hold while she called the manufacturer to see what happened. Apparently it was to be shipped directly from the manufacturer. She came back and gave me an entirely different tracking number that shows it's enroute, on time, and scheduled for delivery tomorrow. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

UPS delivered my lawn sweeper about 10 a.m. I had just finished mowing and dethatching, so I assembled the lawn sweeper and tried it out. Works quite well. If it holds together and lasts a decent length of time, I'll be happy with it. I know I tightened all the bolts when I assembled the dethatcher, but this morning, I lost one nut and bolt (one of those nylon insert nuts) and found 3 others quite loose, so I guess I may have to obey the manual and check the tightness every time I use it. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

The Loctite is probably a good idea. I thought those self locking nuts with the nylon inserts would not come all the way off even if they backed off a little bit. Oh well, not the first mistake I ever made. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Incidentally, the lawn sweeper has a manual with assembly instructions, of course, but also had another sheet of paper saying there had been some changes so some things would be different from the manual. And the changes? They replaced regular nuts and lock washers with the nylon insert nuts. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

If the nylon insert nuts don't work, you can always go low tech and use regular nuts and lock washers. You wouldn't happen to have a photo with your sweeper attached to your GT?
