I stuck a second plug in there, which surprised me, because getting the first one in was hard. So far, so good.

The idea of melting the plugs is hilarious. Worth considering.

The tire leaked again, so I took it off and went to the nearest tire place. They could not fit it on their machine to take it off the rim.

Took it to another place. They examined it, and it turns out it has FOUR holes in it. When I examined the tire, it was mounted and in the shade, and most of the leaks were on the inboard side where they were hard to spot. When I saw one hole, I figured that was all. Not so.

The double plug I put in is holding fine. I replaced an existing plug that leaked, and I plugged a hole that had never been fixed.

The tire, of course, is discontinued, so either I make this one work, I find a rarity on Ebay, or I buy 4 new tires. Maybe I could find a tube for it.

The tire guys said they could not put patches on the inside of the tire because it had holes in the sides. I was willing to give it a shot, considering the alternatives. It's not like it's going to have a dangerous blowout at 5 mph in my pasture.

Could always dump a bottle of Green Slime tire sealant in it after plugging the holes.

I think Slime is a good idea.

After plugging everything and Sliming the tire, I saw a big Slime bubble on the tread near the outer sidewall. New hole. I think the original owner ran over a porcupine. This hole did not show up when I used soapy water to check the tire.

I don't know if it's holding air. I am watching it. I will probably plug the new hole. Won't cost me anything.

The original tires are not available. Quality replacements: $445 before installation. Won't break the bank, but I prefer $0.

What size are the tires?

That's a can of worms.

First of all, cart tires have a different kind of code. They don't read like car tires. Second, this model is just about nonexistent in my size only 24 years after the cart was new.

The size is 21x9.00-10NHS. That means 21" tire diameter, 9" inflated tire width, and 10" rim diameter. The rims are 6" wide. The "NHS" means they're not rated for highway speed.

I found a good tire that will fit. This cart was offered with more than one type. It will take Carlisle Strykers in 22x9-10, and they are just as good.

FlatOut
Cost about $20 at Amazon.
Someone here told me about this stuff for tubeless tire repait with good sized holes. I used it on a CUT tractor front tire and two garden tractor tires and had no problem. Just take out valve core and squirt a pint or quart of this liquid and refill with air. Very easy and is supposed to seal future holes as large as a little finger. Easy and worked for me.
