Leaking braided fuel line.

No you got it that's what im saying it is most likely leaking at the crimp.. you can cut it off right there also... it will have the same end as one that goes strait to the banjo.. you can replace the metal braid line with rubber just put some #4 hose clamps with it... you wont have a single issue again.

Thanks for the response and I see what your talking about cutting at the crimp, just wasn't sure if a hose clamp would work so went with a new line.
Thanks for your reply.

Had the same problem with leaking lines and dealer not cooperating, went to local Napa, purchased 3- 5/16 and 1- 3/8 lines, ground off banjo fittings, replaced all 4 lines in about 2 hours. Total cost was about $17.00, My tractor had about 80 hrs, Fix was easy, a lot easier than dealing with Mahindra and the dealer.

Sounds like what I'll end up doing. Have another line leaking now. This is ridiculous.

A reminder to all, if you have the black cloth looking braided lines and you have one leak, you can be sure the rest will leak soon. All the hoses on that particular tractor are probably out of the same batch. It is way less frustrating to replace all the hoses, then to replace one every few months as they start leaking until you have fixed them all. You can DIY like above, or if you get the Mahindra replacement hoses, make sure they are the new grey hoses. I've never seen one of the grey hoses leak....seen too many of the black ones leak. This problem has been limited to the M&M (India) built tractors. Does not affect the Korean and Japanese built models.

Can I paint my non-leaking black ones gray and sleep better at night....???? [ I already bought some hose and clamps ' in case ' ] But paint is less work..... Had her out yesterday barking and blowing about 2' crystallized snow pack out back of my barn.. Shore was purty out in the blue sky :)

The factory replacement hose that I got from Billstractor is steel/stainless steel, no paint on it except for some small red marks. This having to replace fuel lines on what I would consider an almost new tractor (12 hrs run time) is a crock of crap. Doesn't speak very well of Mahindra products.

Little bit of an update on my dealings with Mahindra.
Friday morning @8:33, I sent Mahindra an email on the issues I'm having with my tractor. Friday evening I got an email saying that the delivery of the email had been "delayed."
Just received, Sunday @8:45A.M. notice that the email was unable to be delivered, "unable to connect to their server."
Saturday, I had gone to their facebook page and posted a comment about the problems I was experiencing. When I finished my comment and posted it, I got the message "unable to post, try again."
After the 3rd time of trying to post the comment and getting the same response, I got the indication that unflattering comments are not welcome on their page. There were many posts complimenting them on their product.
On January 18, I had called the 1-877-449-7771 number shown in the owners manual. After going through the obligatory "if you want this, press one " ritual, I finally got to an answer machine that said for me to leave my name and phone number, I did just that.
As of today, Sunday, March 6, I am still waiting for that call.
It appears to me that if you wish to talk to or correspond with someone from Mahindra, you are "up the **** creek without a paddle."
JUST MY EXPERIENCE...

If I were in your shoes I would sell it tomorrow and give yourself some time to grieve.
