I pretty much did the same.. I didn't drill any holes thought, I tie wrapped them until the bottom hole..

Beautiful work gentlemen...and more importantly, functional work. The new lights allowed me to finish mowing last night where I would have otherwise walked away and tried again another day. Given the wet weather which has delayed numerous projects that will now get pushed into the fall the extra lighting is invaluable. I may add 2 more lights so that I can see all around comfortably when doing implement work that requires me to be aware of my entire surroundings.
