Is this a scam? Legit or Scam?

Here on this forum classified section: In Morris, Texas, a 2006 Kubota L3430HSTC 4WD cab tractor with a Kubota LA723 loader - low hours, and only $8200? Can this be for real?

If it is legit, it would be worth my traveling miles and miles, even with the current high price of gas, to get it! That being said, the price seems to good to be true, and the "bank transfer payment only" is a red flag.

I sent an email to the address supplied, we'll see what kind of answer I get.

Its a scam. There are scam ads here as well as Craigslist and anywhere else.

Yes, I am sure it is a scam... no answer to my email, probably because I said I wanted to view the tractor on site before purchase.

Hi,
I am emailing you regarding the tractor that I have for sale . I saw from you email that you are interested in the tractor.
So, as you can see in the pictures , the tractor looks and works perfect and I must tell you that this is a regretful sale but I have some problems with my family and it must go now.
Everything on the tractor works like new, no hided problems.

Since I have a lot of problems and I am very busy , I am not able to make this transaction in person and I prefer closing the transaction trough an eBay purchase protection program because is this way both of us are protected . If you don't know how does the eBay Vehicle Purchase Protection Program work please let me know so I can help you. I used it several times (as a seller but as well as a buyer) and everything was perfect.
The tractor was inspected by eBay and they approved the sale through their service . Since I am not able to close this deal in person I decided to include shipping & handling fees in the final price ($ 8,000 ) and you will not have to pay any other taxes to register the tractor on your name.
The tracor is registered in TX where I am living right now but it is located in Florida at DAS shipping company and from there it will be shipped to your address. The payment must be sent to eBay and ONLY BY BANK TRANSFER ( they not accept cashier checks or money orders as method of payment for this kind of transactions ).
If you are interested in going ahead with the transaction please let me know your full name and shipping address so I can open a transaction case through eBay with your details.
If not, please let me know as well in order to look for other buyer.

99.999% of the time you can easily tell a scammer simply by the grammar used in emails as well as the add itself.

Another clue to this scam is the DAS trucking. While this is a legit trucking outfit and has internet address also, there have been many scams on ebay and craigslist all using DAS trucking. One even used a paypal clone that I forget the name of, but it was also legit but had many complaints filed for not transferring the money to sellers etc.
Why dont these people just get a job.
I guess if folks werent so greedy, they would not fall for these GOOD DEALS.
Lots of truth in the saying "If it is too good to be true, it probably isn't.

These type of ads will continue to be found on sites like this and some folks thinking the're getting a great deal, will send money, sad.

I do believe that SCAMS are their job!!
Some seem to make very good money too....
