I am looking to buy a compact tractor. I looked at a lenar fs274-1 on the weekend. It looked nice with a little better fit & finish than the jinma's. I serched the forum for any information on them but came up blank. Anybody heard of them?, or have any info on them?

My Neighbor has one with FEL for about 6 months now. He has been pulling out all the fools trying to pass through our impassable mud county "road". He has also been plowing lots of snow with it.
I have checked it out - and I think it's a very good tractor for the money. He has not had any problems with it. I have a Jinma 354LE on order myself and together we are going to build a road up my hill.
Not sure about the availability of parts for it though. I ordered the Jinma because parts and support are eaisily obtainable. I would imagine as more of these tractors are impoted that parts will not be an issue in the future.

The fit and finish is better than the Jinma, but parts for Jinma are plentiful. Parts are available through Lenar or your state's distributor as well as your dealer. The Lenar is a chinese tractor expect minor wiring problems, leaks, etc. overall you need to be handy with a wrench or have someone near you that you can pay to make minor repairs.
