So Ken, do your lights have a switch labeled "PHASER: Stun - Kill - Vaporize"?

Nice job on the lights. I had read your thread, it was actually what got me to rethink my plan of keeping the factory lights and building a light bar. Our lights are the same except yours are basically two of mine stuck together so when I read that they fit right into to existing brackets, I was sold.

Nothing so sinister, I am however offering free x-rays.

You guys inspired me to replace my lights with LED's as well. Here are some before & after shots while the tractor was parked in my dark garage.

Ok you guys. Where's the challenge in being able to see everything all the time? A "real" snow plow operator can work in the dark!

Seriously, great pictures and what a difference! I am writing my letter to Santa this weekend!

Very nice, it makes a huge difference. So what did you change the lights to and where did you get them? I'm also pretty jealous that you can get your tractor in the garage. One of my doors is 1/4" to short, the other 1/2 to 3/4" to short.

They are the same as the ones coobie used, bought them on Ebay.

I do like the looks of these lights, and the 5,000 lumen light would be pretty bright. But the existing light is 35 watts, so i doubt that the alternator could handle these 72 watt lights. But, im actually pretty happy with the factory lighting. I have noticed that while pushing or blowing snow at night, the existing lights reflect too much light off of the falling snow, and actually bugs me with the reflection. I would like to know how the bright LED's handle during actual snow plowing work during the storm. I have to clear snow after it reaches 6" no matter if its still snowing or not, so waiting for daylight isnt an option.Anyone here actually use these lights under these conditions yet? I have to say i have been impressed with the Whelen L31 that i installed a few years ago. As far as strobe lights go, this one is incredibly bright. I have it mounted up high enough that i have not had any problems with snow accumulations yet.
