Haha, that is kind of funny. CityDude is about as far from a city as you can get. Have a brother in the Sheridan area and have been through there many times. Have taken Hwy 14 on occasion when tired of driving the interstate. Interesting country with a "big sky."

It was still in good shape then.
it has now fallen. That was the left side of a much larger chicken house. Seen in the background of this 1952 photo. The right side still has no walls in the photo.
The building seen thru the porch was added onto as another chicken house. We still refer to it as the chicken house.

I'm very Blessed to have been able to buy the farm I grew up on. The house, one of the barns (West barn), both of the chicken houses and the tool shed are gone. Smoke House, Dairy Barn and grain bins are still here. I made a Binzebo out of one of the bins. Last year we built a new house and a shop here. Still things of my Dad's hanging in the Smoke House and Dairy Barn. I'm home.

My mom passed away 4 years ago today. Here is 1951 photo of her with my oldest sister who passed away almost 9 yrs ago. Our “old” house, that I lived in until almost 4, had no indoor plumbing.
