Does this thread make you realize how useful camera film is? Sure the picture quality isn’t there, but we lose track of so many cell phone pictures.

Does this thread make you realize how useful camera film is? Sure the picture quality isn’t there, but we lose track of so many cell phone pictures.

I’m **** about keeping my digital pictures backed up. I upload to my computer, date and label them. Then I back those up to another backup drive.

But nothing beats a physical picture.

This was our snow plow. When it got real deep we used the dozer. During the blizzard of 78 we used the dozer to open up the drifts in our road, and dug some of the neighbors out also.

My folks bought this 80 acres from the original homesteader in '38. Dad had always planned on retiring here. He never made it to retirement age. Wife and I moved down from Alaska in '82. None of the old homestead buildings were still here then. I can remember them because as a kid we visited the old folks here often. He had a large garden and raised sheep and chickens.

This is a painting of one of the old homestead buildings.
