Yes I'm aware. Once had a plant engineer that refused to call our freight elevator an elevator. He called it a reciprocating conveyor. I once thought he made up the term. :).

Depending on what they cost a car lift may be more useful. Put your tractor on it and use the bucket or forks for the rest of the height. Mine goes 8 feet up. And it will make servicing your cars and tractor easier.
How high is your ceiling? I have 14 ft walls and I doubt I can get my tractor more than 3 or 4 feet off the ground before I have overhead trouble.
