I don't understand why these brush guards don't come with a steel mesh cover to keep branches from hitting the lenses at all. Seems like it would be easy to do.

GreenMtnMan--it would not be difficult to spot weld some kind of steel gridwork to the armor, but would make it a tad difficult to change bulbs. BTW--NW Oregon and the central coast of your state is awesome. In three weeks we will fly into PDX and head to Yachats and nearby areas for a week of R&R (skipping the gorge this time). Michael S.

Mike_S, of course you'd need to hinge any cover but it shouldn't be hard to do.

Yep, the scenery here is pretty awesome. I spent a week down in Yachats once - pretty and fun. Hope you have a good time!
