Are you talking about the axle gear that sits in the diffy between both axles and is the main gear touching the bevel pinion? One the right side there are 6 bults with a wire through them. Are these what to tighten?

What I'm talking about are the pins that attach the 3-point lower links to the axle housing. They have a nut on the inside of the axle housing (trumpet)

Could you drill them and either put in a cotter pin or safety wire?
