I just had 4 keys made for my 1993 Suburban for $2.50 each at True Value two days ago.... my 2013 Impala? $42.00.

Sure wish mine were that cheap. I just had a new key made for my 2012 Ford Escape two weeks ago at a cost of $220.72 including $40 labor and $13.77 sales tax.

Waiting for him to start trying to sell his "Portadrillmini" Now that he has 6 posts and can do links!!!

Ahhh yes, all coming together for me now. How about a join a predominately male site and make my first post "Women drilling water wells". That should get all the guy's attention

..."Women drilling water wells"...
Screw the women, Men want to drill... umm, that didn't come out just right... Forget the women, Men want... err, never mind.

(looking up how to delete a post, right now....) :duh:

Well they got close to the 2000 update ;) Isn't that kind of the cutoff for old threads?

I joined in '97 or '98 when the site was new; I don't think those old posts are still available. That's why my join date shows 2000; they moved to new software etc and couldn't port the original posts if I remember. I remember it was a Kubota site originally

16 year old zombie thread revive!!

TBN started in March '98. It's in the "About" section :D I remember I joined in '98 when I got my old Kubota B8200HST.

My memory ain't too good anymore but I do have a few notes on this computer. I bought a Kubota B7100 HST on 6/29/95. I first got an Internet connection on 8/24/98 and I think shortly after that I found "Kubotasource.com" the name of which later had to be changed to "Tractorbynet.com" because Kubota didn't want anyone else using their name. I then traded up to the first Kubota B2710 HST that my Waco dealer had on the lot on 8/12/99. And I ordered workshop and parts manuals from Carver (one of our very active members) on 8/25/99.

So, yep, some of us started long ago, but in my case can't remember exactly when. I do know that there was a time when I read EVERY post long ago before there were so many.

Bird Maybe I have your B7100 HST and I joined about the time I had purchased a computer 1998/99 there was a discussion of Amsol oil and its uses. Kind or remember one of the posters moved to Virginia .
The B7100 HST I purchased site unseen because it was advertised and low hours and engine is missing.
when went to load on trailer sure enough engine was missing from clutch forward. But what can a person expect for $100.00 bucks. The cost of replacement engine everything was more than price of new Kubota.
so added a Predator 22H.P,. engine other than gas engine air cooled . Use it for pulling lawn trailer and carrying fire wood to shop.
Didn't visit the web site for a short period of time. and had to re-register then had double listing so had one removed. and again the change in format was redone.
You I think was still working or had just retired.
I retired this day in 1995.

Yep, I believe Steve was his first name. Anyway, I ordered the manuals and a spare oil filter from him.

Ken, that little B7100 was a good little tractor, BUT . . . it did not have power steering and the front end loader was not a quick attach model. Anyway, I traded it back in on the B2710 to the same salesman that I bought it new from. He later told me he had kept up with the serial number, sold it to a young lady who was buying it as a gift for her husband, the husband traded it back to them for a tractor with power steering, so the dealer sold it to an equipment rental place, and they later traded it back to the dealer, and I forgot who he said bought it next. He said he had sold that little tractor 5 times and it was still in good condition with low hours on it.
