Thanks for the latest pictures of the 3054. Dewave, you noticed the same thing I did. The mfg. website lists two seats and the picture shows one. Is this correct. It seems to good to be true. I too, like the fact that the backhoe is nested very close to the rear of the tractor. I have looked at a lot of other brands and the frame mounting forces the hoe to hang way off the back. It reduces the ground clearance and I think makes traveling on anything other than flat ground unsafe. A friend of mine has warned me about how tippy they can be. My wife is even planning Saturday around seeing the tractor. That is a good sign. We started talking about a $5,000 Grey market unit and now she is up to $20,000 new 3054. She is a sweetheart to indulge me. Best not to push to much more. Besides the picture pretty much confirms my feeling about it being the one. Maybe older technology, but good basic tractor and I did like the way it felt. Of course the tax man can screw up the whole thing come Monday.
