Loader Arm Stress

   / Loader Arm Stress #11
I use a 6 1/2' meyers power angle with the pusher welded to a piece of 6" channel that is pinned to the loader arms. I also have a rubber cutting edge on it and the trip springs are adjusted loose. I built this for my previous tractor and it was used for about 5 yrs. on it . It is now four seasons on the new tractor with no problems. I also used it to grade loose dirt on occasions, with no problems. Good luck on your venture but I think eliminating the bucket and doing what I did or use a QA if you are equipped, my tractor isn't. I can really pile snow with it and I can walk under the blade it raises so high. I used the original A frame from the blade which gives great visibility even when angled.

I have an eight ft.Curtis mounted to my FEL(on a L4240 Kubota) on my third year with no problems.I don't care for the lift chain on the bucket, really limits your sight and raises the center of gravity.I do have trip springs on my plow.I plow about two miles of drives and road.I did have a sub-frame mounted on a previous tractor, that was fine but it called for the removal of the FEL.
