Heres my loader cam install.
Couldnt see the pallet forks going into the pallet so this was my solution. Should also aid in alignment when swapping attachments. Around $42 for the camera and screen on Amazon.

Built a weatherpack connector harness to allow the loader to be removed

Made a low profile bracket to mount the screen in the least obtrusive place i could find

I purchased the same Carling L series switches the factory used to operate the camera, seen here on the bottom right. flip the switch, and the screen and camera come on together instantly. no need to touch any other buttons. Used my label maker to put on a pic of a camera

Looks good, Jason. But without a wider shot, I'm having a hard time seeing where your camera is mounted relative to the rest of the FEL.

Ahh I should have taken a better pic. It's tucked in under the hydraulic line shield on the large tube between the loader arms

Nice work!

How is the view when the bucket is on? Can you see over the bucket as well?

I would be interested in checking it out in person some time if you are willing to share!

Also, here's a better view of the screen bracket I made.

Mangus, unfortunately the view is just of the back of the bucket. I toyed with the idea of mounting the camera to the brush guard for a different angle, but found the view of the fork tips obstructed and the camera more vulnerable.
You're welcome to come and check it out for yourself. Where in N.Y.are you?

Yep, thanks for the additional pic. Looks like the location works well for the forks.

Wow. That looks really good; nice job JL. I am considering doing something like this and have been looking at some backup camera systems. Can you tell us which camera and screen you bought from Amazon.

I also have the 7" monitor with front and back cameras. I did not hard mount the front camera but stuck it to a heavy round magnet. Then I can reposition the camera for use with the bucket or forks. Rear cam is mounted to the top of a tool box I added.

I like the idea of the movable camera. That may be something to consider with the second input. Would be cool to have it completely wireless. They have inexpensive wireless transmitters. Only problem is a power source. I wonder if someone makes a complete self contained unit?

X2! I'd like a smartphone-viewable unit. I have an open station so a permanent screen isn't the best idea........but the pallet forks are a PITA.

Here's a pic of a camera on our pallet forks unloading pallets of bees at night. Missing the pallet slot and poking a hole in the hives isn't a great experience.

edit: camera is mounted on a magnet on the lowest backplate shelf for easy moving from the forks to wherever is needed.

Thanks for the links JL. Just ordered the pair. This should solve my backing up issues. I had side mirrors but they were always getting reorientated and one ended up broken. Tried a rear view mirror but that doesn't give me the visibility I need.

I have the SwiftHitch and use it when it is critical that I see the front of the forks etc. It is extremely nice to have a portable wireless setup. I would use it more except I tend to forget I have it. But be careful when using it on the tractor. It would be pretty easy to start doing other projects and knock off the camera some where along the way.

That's some nice work OP!
I've been threatening to do this on my Kioti PX9020 for a few months now.
I think this thread is the inspiration I need!

sweet project
do you have a link to that removable/separate, wire harness?
also I assume you have to cut end off each and rewire them do you have any pics on how to do that.

Don't the newer go pro's have the ability to transmit to your cell phone? They have a ton of mounts available. Not exactly cheap but it could be used for other things as well.
