ls4010
i have an ls r4010 that the loader leaks down to the ground. if the losder is about half way up it will leak to the the ground in about 30 min. it will also leak down if the tractor is running. also when starting cold i hear a loud sound that seems to be coming from the hydrolics for about three seconds. for want of a better term its tone is about what you would hear from a flute if it were greatly amplified. it sounds like air in the system befor the fluid gets pumping good. could these be related. should this go back to the dealer or is there a fix for this that can be done in the farm shop. dealer is about 50 miles away and not an easy trip.

You should take it back to the dealership for check out. It sounds like the seals in the lift cylinders are damaged and the fluid is leaking by them and that would cause air to get in the system. The pressure relief valve may have pop at one time and did not seat back correctly and the relief valve is leaking by. Either way this is creating air in your system.

Did you get your tractor from the dealer in Lucedale? They are pretty close to you.
