Is it possible to check the joystick to ensure all is connected.

Link does not work. Goes to a page (called login) and just sits there - no login fields to complete.

The loader cylinders put pressure on the lines and disconnects when it is raised off the ground. Put a 2x4 under the bucket and use a floor jack to lift the bucket which takes the pressure off the lines. Then you will be able to connect or disconnect them to trouble shoot the problem.

Yes, with tractor off, brakes set and suspected coupler disconnected..
For your loader, it shouldn稚 be too hard to just follow the hose from the base end of the lift cylinder back to the stationary half of the coupling set. And if it really is dislodged, it will stick out a quarter inch further than the other three. Further, a light tug won稚 disconnect a properly seated coupler, but your partially disconnected one should easily pop out.
This all assumes that it really is a disconnected coupler. And it sounds like the classic symptom of disconnected coupler.
I believe the top one on my 1754 is æ–—oader up and the next one down is æ–—oader lower? so you want to relieve pressure on the lift or up hose. The bottom two are for bucket curl.
This does not help you (yet) but I wrapped a different colored zip tie on each set of hoses/stationary coupler halves. So red goes to red, yellow to yellow, etc

This led me to getting it fixed. Put a 4x4 under the bucket. Could not relieve pressure on quick-connect by tapping on the male end, or even pushing hard against a piece of metal but, a c-clamp did the trick. As soon as it stated to relieve, the bucket tried to drop down but the 4x4 stopped it. Then used the c-clamp to relieve the rest of the pressure..... quick-connect snapped right in. Fired up tractor, bucket works !!! YEA !!!

Then was able to use the bucket to get un-stuck. A local logger had come out - he worked on it for about an hour trying to get it out and finally said it could only get out by using a dozer - the land was pure marsh. Getting the bucket fixed was the trick.

btw: Here's a trick I learned from the dealer - with the bucket up higher, there was a tremendous amount of pressure in the hydraulics.... push the joy stick all the way forward to put it in "float mode". that took a lot of the pressure off.

And, lpakiz was right - top two connects are the up and down, bottom too are for the "curl".

Thank you everyone.... I love this place.\

I have pics on the phone but alas, I fell in the mud, and the phone plopped down in the mud. I'll get a new phone and upload the pics. It was ugly.

Sounds like a real adventure, thanks for sharing your experience.

Hopefully a hard lesson learned where not to drive your Massey. I'm sure your son-in-law feels bad, don't be too hard on him. Did he help or offer to help get it out?

No doubt he was embarrassed and ashamed and yes, he offered to pay for everything.... even the $500 the dozer was going to cost had I not fixed the bucket (from the advice on the people in this thread). He even bought a $400 12,000 pound winch from Harbor Freight that worked for about an hour before it crapped out, plus a lot of extra hardware to try and mount it on the tractor. (all to no avail).

Also, I got my phone fixed ($129 later) - I'll post pics tomorrow

Now to do something about that son-in-law.

Glad we were all able to collectively help! I’ve given some advise here and taken some advise from here. So to me, we’re all even!

I have learned that if the ground resembles a chocolate cream pie youd best find a different route.
Glad you got it out
