visibility and maneuverability are the two main reasons, removing about 4 or 5 feet from the length and several hundred pounds from the front makes it more than worthwhile to spend 5 or 10 minutes removing the loader. I will admit that some loaders are a PITA to remove so not worthwhile but others just need to do it a few times and not that big a deal.
