Local Power-Trac ???

I would like to find someone close to me that has a PT that I might be able to come look at, sit on, drive... Try out. I would be willing to mow your lawn for you... maybe help with a small project... I live just outside of Oklahoma City, and am very interested in a PT 422 or PT 425 to help take care of my 5 acres of homestead, that was previously a wheat field, and my 2 acres of trees at the lake. BUT, I can't buy one without looking at one first. Too many bad experiences.
Anyone know somebody around my area who might let me come look? ? ?

Muhammad had mentioned back in February that it might be a couple of weeks before that feature is brought back. I know I, and a number of others, have asked about it.

I have no doubt that it'll be back. I'm sure there are many other more pressing issues they must deal with. He'll let us know when it's ready to go again. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You're welcome to come to Decatur and mow my grass. We're just northwest of Ft. Worth so it wouldn't be too bad a drive for you. That is, if you're not to averse to visiting a nudist resort. If you come during the week there wouldn't be too many of 'those' kind of people around. I'd even put my shorts on.

We have a PT425 with ~650 hrs on it. Attachments include 60" mower, brush hog, big bucket, grapple, auger, trencher, stump grinder, forks, and rake. Some of our members laughed at the little green machine when I first got it three years ago. Those same folks are now VERY impressed with what it will do. I might have to stop by and see how your PT runs on my next trip. I have some friends that live just north of Dallas and other friends that live just south of Waco. I will probably have to come alone, probably better than trying to convince my wife that I will be coming to look at a tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

If you're willing to travel another hour and a half south of Waco on I-35 you're more than welcome to check out my PT-180. Only 4 hours on it now, but man it's a lot of fun. I've almost run out of things to do. I'm trying to save some spots for BillG and IrTxRx to try out this weekend. Send me a PM if you're interested.

 I will probably have to come alone, probably better than trying to convince my wife that I will be coming to look at a tractor.
 It's suprising but women seem to take to this as well as or better than men. Once they get past 'I'm to _____ (fat, untanned, fill in the blank), they finally realize this is really all about 'acceptance'. Once you shed the cocoon of clothing you open yourself to the real person you're conversing with, not the 'shield' they've put up to make themselves appear different than they really are.
