However, it was surprising how many experienced users(including me, but I'm no mechanic) did not know about adjusting regular couplers.

It's equally surprising how many factory couplers are assembled so tight that you damage them loosening them up. I have several here that even clamping them in the vise and using vise-grips on the collar, the metal actually distorts and it still won't come loose. So a lot of folks probably think they simply have a coupler that is non-adjustable.

All of them I have ever seen are screwed down extremely tight, and I have never figured out why. It is like it is a conspiracy. Somewhere in China is an 800 lb Gorilla, whose job is to tighten down grease gun coupler tips.

I just greased the tractor and loader for the first time with the LnL.

Wow.

It took more time to reload the gun than actually grease everything and this is the first time I can remember greasing something with out getting it all over myself.

I'll save $30 worth of shop towels and GOJO in a years time! (Ok, maybe two years.)

I got mine on Wednesday and used it Thursday night. The only problem I had was not having enough equipment to grease. This thing is a dream come true.

Alright, Alright,, I just caved in and ordered one. I just couldn't take the pressure any more of not having one, and everone else does!:laughing: Whew! talk about peer pressure.. I sure hope this thing is as good as everyone says.!

This rules, wish I saw the locknlube years ago, my equpt would be better greased if I wasn't sick&tired of breaking zerks. I ordered a couple LocknLubes today. At $30 each that seems like a lot but it costs less than a couple broken zerks. Some 'new' parts are plastic and the zerks pull out.

Actually I can't believe it took so long to get a better system (than the push-on and ******** zerk system) on the market.

But now the combination of my Lincoln + 6" rigid extension + LNL is a bit too long.

Does anyone know of a source for a 2" - 4" rigid extension? (1/8" MNPT X 1/8" MNPT threads)

No luck on eBay.

I will go to a hose if I have to but I would prefer a shorter rigid extension.

Jeff wouldn't an ordinary black pipe or galvanized 1/8 NPT nipple work? You can usually buy them at the hardware store in that size for a few cents.
